Fabric: Barathea Cloth
Made with an original, high-twist cotton yarn developed by COLINA, this barathea fabric has a special texture reminiscent of high-twist knits—soft with a subtle volume. It's a fabric that is both incredibly comfortable and easy to wear, with a feeling you’ll keep coming back to.
This fabric is 100% high-twist cotton, woven in a modified twill weave known as "Yabureune" or "Barathea." Originally, Barathea was a formal fabric made from worsted wool, known for its volume, softness, and resistance to wrinkles.
Cotton Barathea is an extremely rare material, only made by select manufacturers. It has a smooth, soft feel, good breathability, and a unique texture like jersey fabric.
Besides its rarity, this fabric is highly functional. The high-twist yarn and textured weave give it a cool touch and excellent ventilation. Thanks to its special weaving technique, the fabric has volume yet remains light and soft. Its distinctive texture makes it easy to achieve a structured silhouette, and it stays comfortably cool against the skin.
