This special 18oz denim is made by mixing indigo dye with natural indigo using a special technique that enables rope dyeing. For the warp, we use our original high-twisted, hard, uneven yarn, and for the weft, we use a special, unique uneven yarn made by mixing Japanese cotton "Samurai Cotton" grown in Japan.
The nep and strong roughness caused by the short fibers of Japanese cotton give the denim a rough look, but at the same time, the color is a rich and beautiful shade of indigo that cannot be produced by indigo alone.
Because of the rope dyeing process, you can expect the same kind of intense bite as with indigo denim, but you can enjoy a more gradual change compared to Samurai's standard indigo denim. The selvedge part also uses indigo+ warp yarn, and the color change of the ear yarn cannot be overlooked.
