When we launched the first iteration of the KUSAKI denim with Tanuki back in 2020, it became one of our fastest-selling releases ever. The fabric, dyed using pomegranate rinds, remains the most intriguing green denim we’ve encountered. Its texture is wild and untamed, reminiscent of a dense tropical forest shaken by a rainstorm. A few years later, Tanuki released an enhanced version, boosting the original 14oz fabric to a robust 19.5oz. This upgrade not only made the denim incredibly sturdy but also amplified the texture to levels we hadn’t imagined.

The KUSAKI quickly sold out everywhere, but we convinced Tanuki to bring it back for us, possibly for the last time. Tanuki is known for taking their time to ensure perfection, never compromising on quality, so you can expect only the best results.
