The fabric and details are all made with care.

Fabric
Using 15.7 ounce Zimbabwe Cotton Indigo extra dark colour Broken Denim.
Broken denim is a denim fabric that has been developed to solve the twisting problem of twill weave denim fabric.
The result is a denim fabric with a twisted surface.

Broken denim has a flatter surface than both right- and left-handed denim which means that the colour will fade more evenly.
In addition the Selvig is a special 15th-anniversary edition with pink yarn sandwiched between twisted gold and silver lame yarn.

The top button and small tuck button are both made from brass.
The buttons are made from brass and will become dull black and rusty over time.
