Thank you for your understanding.

The yarn for these jeans is spun using the oldest ring spinning machine in Japan, the "Ishikawadai," and then knitted on a traditional knitting machine in Wakayama. The fabric is dyed with Bengara, showcasing the natural unevenness that comes with using natural dyes. The knitting machine is designed to avoid unnecessary tension on the yarn, allowing it to knit slowly. This ensures the fabric is carefully stored under the machine after knitting, preserving the natural texture of the cotton without compromising its original quality.

BENGARA DYE
Bengara, the color of the earth, is one of the most familiar colors to humanity. This deep, earthy hue has captivated people for centuries with its richness and unique beauty. It has long been a part of Japanese life, not only used in the decoration of ceramics and lacquerware but also for its insect-repellent and preservative qualities in house painting and dyeing.
The greatest feature of Bengara dye is its exceptional durability and resistance to fading. Compared to plant-based dyes, it has superior color fastness and maintains its beauty over time. Additionally, Bengara dye, often referred to as "earth dye," is a natural dyeing technique that is environmentally friendly and biodegradable, making it a sustainable, circular material that returns to the soil.
This "red of the earth," nurtured by nature, carries a warm and gentle tone. Its deep beauty and the enduring tradition passed down through time offer a unique charm to be savored.
