Original fabric with jacquard weave of stitching applied on denim, Amami mud dyed sashiko denim jeans. The mud of Amami originates from ancient geological stratum, and its particles are round and fine, so it can be dyed without damaging the threads. The threads become soft and supple by repeatedly rubbing the mud with Teichi-Mokuen solution. Mud-dyed clothes are less likely to wrinkle, lighter, less likely to fall apart, more resistant to fire and stains, and less prone to static electricity. Denim is made with a warp thread count of 6 and a weft count of 5, resulting in a 15.5 oz. heavyweight finish.
The gentle, deep, powerful, and astringent colors, which cannot be synthesized with chemical dyes, are produced by the heart and nurtured by the earth and the mother of the earth. It can be said to be a rich natural gift from the earth, the mother of the earth, which nurtures our hearts. The silhouette is Relax Tapered.
