MADE IN JAPAN - Concept Shop's standard denim series.

The denim is made of 14.6oz selvedge denim from Japan Cotton Cloth. Using 7 count warp and 6 count weft yarns the denim fabric is slowly woven on an old-style shuttle loom giving it a vintage-like appearance with natural irregularities and fullness. The fabric is also sanforized (shrink-proof) and skewed (twist-proof) so it can be washed and worn without losing its silhouette. The selvedge uses EDWIN's iconic rainbow selvedge. The used finish reproduces a natural color fading easy-to-wear finish that is based on jeans that have actually been worn for 6 months. After carefully processing each pair by hand a tennis ball is placed in the knee area to stretch the fabric reproducing the realistic fading of the knee due to wear a process unique to our own factory. Vintage jeans specifications such as selvedge on the back of coin pockets offset belt loops and button fly have been retained. The regular straight fit is suitable for all kinds of outfits regardless of the shoes you choose to wear them with.
