SAMURAI JEANS is reviving the special 21 oz. Jeans series that exploded on the scene in 2007. Although this model does not have the serial number it is made in a similar way to the others in the series. Due to the labor intensity Samurai jeans will only produce a small number of this model at each shipment period. As others in the 21 oz. series the S510XX uses bumpy fibers with a thread count of 3.6 for the warp/vertical yarn and is spun into a strong twist by hand so that the cotton quality is rougher than the original hard coarse raw cotton. The yarn is dyed 100% indigo in a repeat dying process to get a deep color such that it does not penetrate the core so that a white fading appears with wear. The yarn is lastly woven together with a traditional loom. The selvedge part is called 'Sword Ear' and uses red and gold lame. The silhouette is the same straight as S510XX 17oz. Nonwash
