Lot.1405 13oz Riders Left Hand Denim Narrow Tapered
TROPHY's original 13oz selvedge denim is crafted using a left-hand twill weave, the reverse of traditional right-hand twill. By weaving in the same direction as the yarn’s twist, the fabric tightens, resulting in more pronounced twill lines. This unique structure creates a smooth, flat texture while maintaining a soft, comfortable fit that becomes increasingly supple with wear.
Unlike most left-hand twill denim, which is typically sanforized (pre-shrunk), this model is intentionally left unsanforized (without shrink-proofing). As a result, the fabric gradually softens and conforms to the body over time, developing a distinctive "flowing line fade" that enhances with wear.
Designed for both comfort and functionality, the silhouette features a moderate room in the thigh with a natural taper towards the hem. To improve mobility, especially for riders, curved pockets are positioned closer to the sides to prevent interference. The front closure is equipped with solid brass buttons and a cam-lock Gripper Zipper, offering both durability and a vintage aesthetic. The stitching is done with cotton thread, further enriching the garment’s classic appeal.
