Tabby's Coat was once commonly known as a "Shop Coat" for engineers to wear over their dirty work clothes for sudden visitors or light outings while working.
It is basically based on a 50's store coat with a mix of 40's Stop Loss pockets, which were also used in Tabby's Overall.
The right chest pocket has a flap pocket to prevent tools and cigarettes from falling out even when bending over.
